We recently launched a new label called Mother Earth Fresh Responsibly Grown on Family Farms, which reflects our commitment to sustainability. The focus is on Earth Friendliness and environmentally sound operations. Over the past six years we have developed farming practices that use less commercial fertilizer, less pesticide, and less fungicide. Instead, through the introduction of biological agents, we seek to provide the proper balance of soil nutrients and create an environment where the nutrients can be absorbed by the plant better.
The result of our sustainable farm practices is that we have healthier plants, limit damage to the soil, wildlife, the environment, and nearly eliminate all residues. The other big bonus is that we are producing better crops with longer shelf life. The last two years have been so successful that we feel it is time to tell our story.
